Based on the Swedish tale of "Leap the Elk and Little Princess Cottongrass", a sheltered but curious Princess leaves her home with the help of her new elk friend. On their journey, she meets sinister creatures and loses more and more of what makes her human.
On the Isle of Man, fairies have been known to steal human babies and replace them with changelings; malevolent creatures that take on a human-like appearance. However, most stories focus on the changeling, so what happens to the stolen human child?
Class wallflower Grace turns her middle school's hierarchy on its head when her fanfiction is chosen to represent the school in a county wide contest. Emboldened, Grace and her friends then set out to prove that everyone's a little bit of a "fan girl".
